Born in Germany, it was for business reasons that I moved to the U.S. in 1999. My husband and I own a ranch in South Texas. I love the outdoors and working with the animals is a great relaxation after spending hours at the keyboard or in meetings.

Parts of my history are featured in the Knaur book 'jungemillionare.de': Success stories of young German entrepreneurs by Susanne Vieser (currently only available in German).

    Multi-million budget responsibilities;
    Founder of Germany's second largest Online-System; successfully sold company to ARCOR/Vodafone;

    15+ years design and development of complex IT structures including multi-user environments (> 600,000 users), multi-media, Voice over IP, Internet, Security ..;
    Numerous contributions to the 'Open Source' community;
    Special development work for IBM, Hewlett Packard, SUN and others;
    Inventor of many so called 'Web 2.0' services;
